    The CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification verifies that successful candidates have the knowledge and skills required to leverage intelligence and threat detection techniques, analyse and interpret data, identify and address vulnerabilities, suggest preventative measures, and effectively respond to and recover from incidents.

    The PDA qualifications in Cyber Resilience intent to provide foundation knowledge and skills in cyber security to increase awareness and develop deeper knowledge and appropriate skills of the discipline. The principal aim of the qualifications is to introduce cyber security to learners already employed across the wider workforce, to encourage interest in this emerging discipline as a potential future career and to improve cyber security knowledge for all learners irrespective of their vocational goals.

    Prerequisites:

    Learners are expected to have the following in prior attending the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) course;

    • The Network+ or Security+ certification – or equivalent knowledge
    • A minimum of 1- 4 years of hands-on information security or related experience

    There is no prerequisite required for CompTIA CySA certification exam, but the candidate should hold CompTIA Network+, Security+ or equivalent knowledge. It is recommended that learners have gained equivalent IT networking and information security knowledge and practical skills through several years of experience gained in information security.

    CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) is a global, vendor-neutral cybersecurity certification that applies behavioural analytics to improve the overall state of IT security. CySA+ certification authenticates critical knowledge and skills that are required to prevent, detect, and combat cybersecurity threats. The CompTIA CySA+ is an intermediate level course and will build upon the knowledge you learn in the core skills qualifications.
