The HNC Data Analytics is designed for learners who chooses to enhance their careers in the fields of Mathematics and Data Analytics. The HNC Data Analytics will provide students’ knowledge for a successful career in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics and Computing. This course provides a comprehensive range of hypothetical knowledge and practical skills in the above said fields.
This course provides students with a foundation in areas such as Data Analytics, Software Development and Computer Science so they can make informed choices before specialising. Major opportunities exist for learners to develop the more generic skill, known as Core Skills (communication, Numeracy, ICT, Problem solving and working with others) through doing this qualification.
Why should you consider this course?
In the current modern world economy exclusively information is playing a vital role from the health care (e.g. NHS), travelling (e.g. travel agencies), gaming industry, energy management, internet communication data, financial services to customer- compliance- fraud and operational analytics. With analytical abilities, you will be able to determine which data is relevant to your solution, more like problem solving.
Indulging this gigantic array of data is one of the key contests we currently face and entails expertise in subjects such as mathematics, statistics and computing.
Data Analytics is the quest of scrutinising raw data through advanced computing systems. These systems convert, classify, and model the data to draw inferences and determine collections. It is one of the fastest growing technology which has become an integral part of contemporary business and industry. It is currently used by many industries and this is to allow the businesses to make better judgements as well as demonstrate and disprove existing theories or models. This qualification will accelerate business value with a data management platform and significantly speed up the distribution of data for analytics initiatives.
This course will dynamically provide students to tackle such cutting edge skills, empowering them to handle problems in vibrant business environments. This is an exciting and rewarding career in an industry that is set to intensify.
What will you study?
The prime ambition is to prepare learners for progression to 2nd year in degree programme and/or relevant employment in the fields of data analytics, computing, statistics or mathematics.
