Students intending to use a Part Time Fee Grant to fund their studies should apply for this as soon as possible and prior to the start date of their course. When you have completed the application form an ITPT Course/Guidance Adviser from the IT Professional Training is required to complete the relevant section to authorise your application to SAAS within the deadline, if your application is successful, you will be sent an award letter which you should then submit to our Finance department to complete payment.

Hands on Experience
We have a work shop/ Lab where we provide all types of PC, Laptop spare parts to get experience. Students will get the chance to assemble and disassemble desktop and /Laptop computers under the supervision of our accredited and experienced Instructors. Installing Operating Systems, Configuring WLAN, Shared Printer Networking etc.

Classes Duration:
This course will be delivered 3.5 – 4 hours a day every week, one full classroom and will run for 20 weeks.

SQA Framework:
The CompTIA A + program also offers a number of shorter curricula which are related to SQA standalone HN Units. Learner can earn up to 48 credits upon passing all exams successfully. All SQA exams costs are included in the funding.
Course Funding:
SAAS Part Time funding is also available for this course which covers the full cost of the training and SQA relevant exams.

The course fee is £550.00 and the cost can be divided into manageable instalments but this needs to be paid within the course extent. To book the place, first instalment must be paid three weeks before the course starting date.

You will learn to install and configure network operating systems, how to configure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP. Students will also install and configure virtual environments using VMware. There is also a strong emphasis on network security.
