This JavaScript training course is designed to teach all of the fundamentals of JavaScript programming, i.e. the core language plus the techniques and add-on libraries which JavaScript programmers use on an everyday basis to accomplish the most common web design tasks.

This course is mainly suitable for front-end web developers who want to automate & animate interaction with end-users, they do not need to have any previous programming experience.

The (JSE – Certified Entry-Level JavaScript Programmer) certification demonstrates that the candidate’s understanding of the JavaScript language core syntax and semantics, as well as their proficiency in using the most elements of the languages, tools, and resources to designs, develop, and refactor simple JavaScript programs.

Prerequisite:
This JavaScript Essentials training course is for beginners, is designed to get non-programmers who wants to pursue career in JavaScript programming and web application development.

Individuals must have ability to use computer with ease and good typing skills.

Hands-on Experience:

This course involves practical labs throughout the course providing learners hands-on experience. There is no such short training which will turn you into an expert programmer overnight than this one. You’ll need some aptitude for technical problem-solving, lots of post-course practice, and the ability to learn from your inevitable mistakes. This JavaScript course should, however, provide an excellent platform for doing those things and reaching that status. Learners will also be able to confidently learn other programming languages with ease based on skills gained during this course.

Funding Available:

Course Funding: SAAS PTFG: Scottish Awards Agency for Scotland

This course is funded by SAAS part time funding which is available to eligible individuals only;
SAAS General funding eligibility requirement:

  1. You have to be a resident of Scotland
  2. Either employed or unemployed, if working then earning must be less/equals to 25k a year
  3. Have not used the SAAS funding in this Academic Year.

 

Other criteria:

☑ Students do not need to pay it back as this is a grant, not a loan.

☑ This funding is different from the full-time funding, which can be applied by someone who previously granted for a degree, postgrad or any other full-time studies (HNC/HND) etc. but not in a same session

☑ Part-time funding cannot be received in the same session if one is already receiving any part/full time funding for other courses.

☑ Part-Time funding can only be used for one course per academic year

☑ SAAS part-time funding academic year starts from Aug to July.
