Students have the option of joining this tutor–led course as a Virtual Learning. For this mode of learning, they will join the course virtually from home. Students will join the class virtually at the times mentioned above (Thursday- 9:30am to 1:00pm) and will follow the live virtual class that is led by our qualified instructor. This had proved a popular mode of learning for students as it allows them to follow the course/lessons in real time, discuss the course with you fellow students and instructor during the lesson and allows the instructor to ensure you are successfully completing the work. You will not need to attend our Edinburgh training centre for any lessons. A recording of each lesson will be available for student to view in their own time too. We would send students a link to access this virtual learning classroom via Microsoft Teams.

SQA Framework:
This program also offers a number of shorter curricula which are related to SQA standalone HN Units. These are also assessed by means of restricted response questions and practical labs and so can give credit transfer to complete units. Learner can earn up to 40 credits upon passing all exams successfully. All SQA exams costs are included in the funding.
Hands on Experience:
Hands on experience will also be provided under Microsoft Instructors supervisions on live based scenarios.
Classes Duration:
This course will be delivered 3 – 3.5 hours a day every week, one full classroom and will run for 16-18 weeks.
Modes of Learning:
You have the option of undertaking this course via following learning modes:
1.) Face to Face Classroom based Learning: You will attend the class each week on the day and time mentioned above.

Self-Finance
Students can also self-finance this course if do not qualify for the funding. The cost can be divided into manageable instalments but this needs to be paid within the course duration. To book the place, first instalment must be paid three weeks before the course starting date.

The 40 minutes-long class will allow for a deeper and more impactful learning experience compared to traditional classes at school. The lessons also provide an opportunity to fill gaps in knowledge that students may have due to absence from school.
This course is designed for learners who are considering to appear for the NAT 5 Computing Science SQA exam. It provides opportunities to enhance skills in planning and organising, working independently and within teams, critical thinking and decision making, research, communication, and self and peer evaluation, in a range of contexts.
Test your knowledge:
We will evaluate students existing knowledge with the help of an aptitude test.

The course has four areas of study which are covered in depth, these are as follows:
